Art is important. And the platform and voice i know i have, i want to use it and speak volumes.

As a gay man, i hear all the time why SYTYCD has avoided gay topics, stories, and asked men to always dance masculine. And it’s hard to answer because i agree with some i hear. And want more opportunities for the show to embrace and inspire someone who possibly needs to see it.
Last night was a big leap, and not just for @アメリカン・ダンスアイドル or myself... but for the opportunity that someone in the world, saw a routine that they needed to see. I want to thank @dariushickman_ for being confident, brave, bold, unapologetic and lived more than most male dancers have ever danced on this show! You are a bird! So proud of you!
