I miss the tour life! I was in a bit of a funk after I got back - maybe it's like how some people have a slump after big holidays? Or maybe I was just living on an adrenaline high and finally came down. There *was* tons of work to catch up on after being out, and the kids had to go back to school so I had open houses, school supply shopping, they both wanted haircuts, etc. it was a lot to do in a short time. But all is well now, not as hectic. I do notice how LOUD other people are though. I'm fixing up the basement so they can play computer games a little further away from me. I LOVE THEM but I like quiet. ⠀

I'm ready for not touring for a bit! It went really well though from my vantage point - the house-hub thing is genius and makes things nicer for me. Speaking of genius, I am so glad I got to do computer work! I thought that was so awesome, spending the day trying to solve problems. SO unrelated to anything I ever thought I'd do, but so awesome! It's also nice to have another really absorbing thing to work on that is not music. Gets my head clear of the music things and the two compliment each other in giving my brain a different way to think, though I can see how creating a song is a lot like writing a program.⠀

The Phoenix place was awesome and I had a chance to hike up to the fire pits and see the view - the pics are so gorgeous. I love the dry weather out west - it's so humid here all the time. I got to see the world (well, a few new states) with weezer! :) Thanks for broadening my horizons this summer.
