A great introduction to Wendenstock climbing today. Glorious sunshine, perfect limestone, beaut views, every single pitch was stunning, then an afternoon thunderstorm rolled in (predicted) which turned serious on the descent: the whole face turned into a giant waterfall making the descent a cross between a water park and a war zone. Happy we didn’t get washed away and successfully dodged falling rocks. We’ll be sure to take the forecast more seriously in future. Although we may be trapped here since a mudslide has blocked the road ? Luckily we have West World downloaded - who else loves it? @blackdiamond #wendenstock @jonny__baker
