Today is “World Orangutan Day”, a good day to give a little thought to the crisis facing wild orangutans, our responsibility to leave some room for other species on this planet, and what you can do about it. To learn more about these amazing apes, one thing you could do is watch our short film “Person of the Forest” that tells the story of “culture” in wild orangutans. This film, which has won numerous awards on the film festival circuit, is now available for everyone to see on Vimeo (see link in profile @Tim Laman), and was even honored as a “Vimeo Staff Pick”.
