Third stop was Coast Camp - a 3 mile hike in to a campground right along the shoreline. At low tide we hiked down the beach to a rocky outcropping where mussels, anemones, starfish and crabs catch some sun for a couple hours each day. The ecosystem at Point Reyes is diverse and vibrant and moves seamlessly from land to sea. We made sure to stop for a "Shuck your own” session at Hog Island Oyster Co. Incredibly kind people who run a really smooth operation. They're a B-corp and heavily entrenched in sustainable practices and providing the best, healthiest product. ?:@ajwells
