During the last week of September I will be hiking 100 km over 5 days in the Alps (yikes!) to raise money for Big Change - a charity driven by the belief that all young people should have the opportunity to thrive, wherever they are born. It’s a social impact accelerator that backs powerful ideas at an early stage of development, allowing them to learn, grow and prove their impact. Big Change focuses on 3 things - skills, opportunities, and support.
Personally, I can’t imagine my life without those things. If I didn’t have access to coaches, a sport to channel my drive, and a family who supported my dreams, I would be in a very different spot today. Talent is equally distributed around the world, but opportunity is not.
