these past few weeks I’ve been putting the @vqfit women’s range to the test and holy guacaMOLERAT it’s amazing ?????

here I’m wearing the Virtue seamless leggings and the feel is unreal? - v high waisted and flatters every ounce of muscle on the legs and bum?? I’ll be doing a full in-depth (and honest?) review of all the pieces once they launch (August 22 aka 6 more days???!!!)

✖️barbell glute bridges✖️ because who doesn’t enjoy thrusting the sky for glute gains? ?(3x12)

✖️dumbbell american deadlift✖️ - a variation of deadlifts to target my glutes mainly - my hips are taking on the load, and I extend up until my glutes feel that nice familiar stretch - that’s my cue to come up and squeeeeeze ?(3x12)

✖️barbell step up✖️ - stepping up onto a box through the heel of my foot before stepping back down and repeating with the next leg.

I find doing this in front of a mirror to be extremely helpful. also get in the habit of squeezing your core BEFORE taking the first step)(3x10)

✖️kneeling hip hinges✖️ - these were somewhat disastrous lol! I didn’t wrap my resistance band around a dumbbell heavy enough, so it kept falling on me? In fear of being smooshed, I compromised some range of motion, but still managed to get my glutes pumped! (keep this in mind when you set this up for yourself - I used a 100 lb DB, but would’ve needed 150 lb ish) (2x20)

✖️cable glute kick back with pulses✖️ - my favourite part of the kick back is the top (because #squeeze ?) - but if the tempo is too high, we can overlook this part of the motion. that’s why we’re doing a pulse after each rep for an added burn to prompt glute growth. this will make sure you get a greater bang for your booty buck ?(3x12)
