As always, my expectations and standards were high and I wanted much more.
It’s been a hard few months with lots of challenges. I was running terribly and spent the last 8 weeks trying to fix that. I almost pulled it off. When emotions kicked in I truly needed to relax and trust in my legs....I didn’t and I threw it away.
What I am proud of is being resilient AF, persevering and getting myself back to the point of being considered a medal contender.
It’s so easy to say ‘well done’ when things are going well but for some reason it’s so hard for people to say anything when things don’t go well. I appreciate every single person who has reached out over the last few months. It means the world.
I’ve been here before and I’ll come back again - wiser, stronger, faster and tougher.
