Have you seen the @hepworthwakefield’s Lee Miller exhibition yet? One of the most important names in image-making in the 20th century, Miller crafted a hugely successful career in the fields of both fashion and war photography. The American photographer also felt a strong affinity with the school of Surrealism in Britain in the 1930s. The exhibition focuses on this aspect of Miller’s career, and her connection to artists like Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst and René Magritte – and work by such artists also appears in the show, alongside Miller’s spectacular photography ?⠀
