Yesterday I did a bunch of writing and thinking around my #52pickupmentalhealth idea and landed on something I found pretty interesting. I’m thinking of creating different state flags that represent all my mood states and see if I can come up with 52 of them. I think as a society we have this unrealistic expectation that we need to identify as happy or sad people without daily nuance. It’s like forecasting the weather to stay consistent and to never change. A recurring and recent mental state is that of #existentialdread, one of my least favorite states to dwell in but I don’t mind visiting it every now and then. #mentalstateflags #unitedstatesofbeing #existentialism #sartre
