Worth mentioning that when Bayer bought Monsanto in a recent humongous deal, they opted to phase out the “Monsanto” name. Also worth remembering that big campaign against requiring GMO labeling (Monsanto makes genetically modified seed that is resistant to Round-Up - which they also happen to make and is what they got in trouble for here)... b/c it would “increase prices for consumers”... presumably b/c there’s no nutritional info currently on packaging labels? ? #Repost @vanderkimberly

Reminder: please call your city parks and rec and ask them for their spray schedule. Don’t attend parks with your beautiful little angels the day after they spray. Better yet... tell them to STOP SPRAYING!!! Another reminder: buy organic when you can. The frozen food aisle, farmers markets and whole sale grocery’s tends to be the most affordable place for organic.

What else can we do to protect ourself from weed/human killers? ?
