The Princess of Wales delighted the Royal Hampshire Regiment of which she was the Colonel-in-Chief when she attended a regimental dinner in Winchester, Hampshire, in February 1990, dressed in this traditional mess jacket and waistcoat made by Gieves & Hawkes Bespoke department. The regiment’s gold and silver rose is embroidered on the collar.
