The Duke of Cambridge lays flowers in the Chapel of Allies at today's #Amiens100 commemorations that took place at Amiens Cathedral, France. Today's ceremony remembered those who fought in the Battle and reflected on its significance as a decisive point during the First World War.

Starting on 8 August 1918, the Battle heralded the Hundred Days Offensive and stated the path to the Armistice in November 1918.
