'Chitimba was our last stop in #Malawi, before venturing north to cross the border to #Tanzania. We had hoped to get up to the nearby Livingstonia, for a glimpse of Malawi’s Scottish colonial past, but after the rains, the road up the mountain was just too difficult to navigate. We then tried public transport, but after waiting 1.5 hours with our young boys for the pick up truck to be ‘full’, we decided to cut our losses and head back to our camp.
