Beat the Los Angeles heat and go see David Hockney’s portraits of Larry Gagosian and Frank Gehry, currently on view at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art through Sunday, July 29.

In "82 Portraits and 1 Still-life" Hockney offers a vibrant and intimate view of people with whom he has developed relationships over the past 50 years. Hockney wanted Gagosian to sit for three days, but Gagosian could only give him two.
