CROSS CROSSEのオフィシャルコーチMichael Ehrhardt 選手が、この度イスラエルにて行われた2018’ WORLD CUP で大会MVPを獲得しました！正真正銘のラクロス界で世界一になったマイケル選手にこの場をお借りして感謝の気持ちとお祝いの言葉を送りたいと思います「Congrats Mike!」
女子コーチAlex Aust 選手の金メダルに続いてのCROSS CROSSEコーチ陣の目を見張る活躍に本当にスタッフ一同感激しています。
今回輝かしい戦績を残した、マイケル選手はいったいどのようなラクロスの経歴を持っているのでしょうか。
2014年に名門メリーランド大学からMLLにドラフト1位指名でシャーロット・ハウンズへ入団。翌年2015年には怪我で一時戦線離脱。2016年には怪我から復帰し、自身初のMLLオールスターへ選出されます。2017年はチームの攻守のかなめとして、シーズン中にはチーム最多の54グラウンドボール、17コーズドターンオーバーを記録。
そして2018年0.7％という倍率をくぐりアメリカ代表としてワールドカップへ参加。ついに、ワールドカップMVPとして世界に名前をとどろかせました！

Below are the short bio of “Michael Ehrhardt” (Reference from Charlotte Hounds)
2017: Ehrhardt was a staple in defense for the Hounds in 2017. The defenseman played in all 14 games, scoring five goals, including four two-pointers. He added five assists, collected 54 groundballs and led the team with 17 caused turnovers.
2016: Ehrhardt was named to his first MLL All-Star Game in 2016. In 14 regular-season games, he recorded five goals (one 2-pointer), collected 49 groundballs and lead the team with 24 caused turnovers.
2015: The defenseman had a breakout year in 2015, despite missing three games to injury. In 11 regular-season games, Ehrhardt scored 7 goals, including one 2-pointer, and added an assist. He ranked third on the team with 47 groundballs and first in caused turnovers with 27.
