Saw this quote on a feed somewhere and had to repost. It's definitely a truth. I just posted on Twitter about how the easiest work performance hack is beginning your work week on Sunday. Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about heading to your place of work on an off day or pulling out your files at the Sunday brunch table. I'm speaking more to creating an optimization day where you may have the time and flexibility to examine your physical and mental needs. If you didn't check out my book "Head Strong", I name 5 Brain Weaknesses - 1. Forgetfulness 2. Cravings 3. Inability to Focus 4. Low Energy & 5. Moodiness/Anger. All five of these are the effects of sub-optimal diets, poor quality sleep, environmental toxins, and simply low amounts of joy. Yes, #joy... So why not take Sunday, a day where you may have a bit more flexibility as a day to examine where you might find yourself in one of those 5 Brain Weakness categories and activate the necessary changes to get a headstart on your optimal performance?
