Robert Taylor first walked in to the Grenson Queen Street factory in 1969 and his first job was to sweep the floor. 49 years later he is retiring as the Leather Buyer and head of the Clicking Room, which he has been for many years.⠀

People like Robert are very rare. His dedication to the company and to his skill is something that is not often seen today and he will be sorely missed by the Company and indeed by the shoe industry as a whole.⠀
