Photo by @Tim Laman. “Eye of the Heron”. A close encounter with a great blue heron viewed through bushes lining the shore of Walden Pond. This heron (Ardea herodias) was busy hunting along the shoreline and I was able to slowly move closer and use a long lens to capture this close-up.
