Israel pounded Hamas targets in Gaza on July 14 in its most massive bombardment since the 2014 war, the Associated Press reports, while militants fired dozens of rockets toward #Israel. Two Palestinian teenagers were killed in the airstrike in Gaza City, and four Israelis were wounded from a rocket that landed on a home in Sderot. The rare strike in the heart of Gaza City blew out windows at a nearby mosque, an art gallery, government offices, a tech start-up and dozens of houses, the AP adds. Three days later, Israel announced new restrictions on its only cargo crossing with the #Gaza Strip—after agreeing to a cease-fire following a day of intense fighting—and tightened its naval blockade to limit Palestinians from sailing beyond three nautical miles off Gaza’s coast.
