A performance for the world leaders today at the Cinquantenaire museum in Brussels. President @ドナルド・トランプ left for Brussels yesterday, his first stop in a weeklong European trip. The 7-day, 3-nation trip highlights the ways he has utterly transformed U.S. foreign policy. At the start of the annual NATO summit today, #PresidentTrump called allies “delinquent” for failing to spend enough on their own defense. He also said that Germany was a “captive” of Russia because of its energy dealings. Still, along with 28 other heads of state, the president signed the 23-page #NATO declaration, which reflects months of negotiation. That contrasts with his departure last month from the Group of 7 summit meeting, when he refused to sign onto the usual carefully crafted communiqué. @nytmills, who took this photo, is among the photographers traveling with the president. Next stop: Britain, where @ドナルド・トランプ will have appointments with Prime Minister @theresamay and Queen Elizabeth. He’ll also visit one of his golf resorts before heading to Finland to meet with President Vladimir V. Putin. Visit the link in our profile for updates from the trip.
