Complaining will never get it done. Don’t be that guy that bitches and complains about every little thing in life. We all know that guy. He can’t afford this or that, and gas prices are too high. His sister is trying to screw him on family stuff, Del Taco didn’t put enough sour cream on his steak and egg burrito when he specifically told them “extra sour cream”. Then!! Somebody cut him off on the freeway on his way to work. Of course he didn’t die, but just set off huge verbal land slide of how terrible his life is and how bad everything sucks. Nobody wants to hear that bullshit, especially those with work to do. If you feel like you might be getting caught up in the complainers net. Here’s a sure fire way to get out of it. Go out and buy something expensive. Not a private jet or something dumb. But that thing that you want/need but can’t justify. This is what I did with the first car I restored. A 1957 VW single cab. It was one of the poorest times in my life in college and I couldn’t afford to get it painted. I took it to Maaco and dropped it off anyway. The estimate was $750 and I had one month to figure it out. After I busted my ass at my job and going to the swap meet pretty soon, like magic I had the money. I know some of you might not get this approach but it’s been working for me for 30+ years. You can either stand on the sidelines complaining or you can get in the game.
