It's always nice if you see your team car during a stage but not so nice if it's 6km before the finish when you have a puncture. Got a new bike and push from our mechanic Roger but in a Tour de France final you don't come back to the bunch at this point of the race. ?? It happened when I tried to jump a roundabout and hit the concrete edge of it with my rear wheel - that even kills the strongest tire. So, no sprint for me in the end. It was just a very hot day in the saddle. ??☀️? Tomorrow team time trial or how we like to call it: 7 against Tony Martin.... ? ?@gettysport
