Inspired by a 1930s motif from the archives of the Maison Vermont, the embroidery was adapted for the Autumn-Winter 2018-2019 Haute Couture collection to meet the aesthetic desired by Artistic Director #MariaGraziaChiuri. With the dress conceived to correspond to the model's skin tone, the handmade embroideries were specially dyed in appropriately antique shades of nude and powder brown. ⠀
