A pair of Appaloosa horses graze in the Idaho shrub grass after being ridden all day long in a gathering of horses. The horse on the right shows the outline of the saddle just removed, marked by the traces of sweat on its back and flanks, while its left eye carefully follows my every step. His companion seeming unfazed by my presence.
