#poliforminspired is a new series by Poliform taking us into the homes of inspiring and talented individuals, discovering their personal collections of objects that inform and inspire their work.
Our first episode takes us into the London’s home of celebrated light designer Michael Anastassiades ( @michaelanastassiades ). His first chosen object being a plaster cast of a head received by the artist Eduardo Paolozzi when he was a student at the Royal College of Arts in London. “Paolozzi had the reputation of being a gruff and difficult man. One day he arrived with a tray of plaster casts and told me: ‘Do you want a head?’ It’s the only interaction we’ve ever had, and for me, a young student in front of an important artist, it was a very powerful experience.” Photography by Polly Brown (@pollyholiday )
