It peels me from the sheet of comfort I spin around my body, and untangles the cob-webs that weave throughout my brain.
It unhinges me. It untethers my emotions, and forces me to confront my personal truths, fears, regrets and shame. But it also allows me to dance in my victories and bathe in the warm glow of my growth.
It is my practice I find contentment for the imperfect, gratitude for my weakness and a sense of awakening knowing that my path is not only completely personal and unique, but beautifully chaotic and raw.
My practice, is an abstract representation of my mind; stillness in motion, feathered fluidity and stubborn stillness, ego vs truth, challenge vs change.
