The events we are witnessing under current leadership are unthinkable. To accomplish anything without love is to accomplish nothing at all. The world is hurting and it needs collective kindness. Every single person is responsible to contribute to this world. Your energy and (even the smallest of) actions create a butterfly effect of ripples, a knock-on movement that will go farther in this world than you will ever know about. You are powerful. Kindness Ripples - an example of a kindness ripple is; think about where you get your morning coffee. How you treat the barista will likely effect how he treats the person in-line after you, and the 300 other people who order coffee after that person. How he/she treats the 301 people that come to the coffee counter after you that morning will have an effect on how those 301 people treat the 10+ (at least) people who cross THEIR paths today. ⠀
.....So how did you show up when you ordered your coffee this morning? Were you on your phone and dismissive of the barista? Did you have a bad morning and in turn were rude to the barista because someone cut you off at the traffic lights? Did you smile at the barista and tell them you look forward to this coffee every morning and you appreciate how they make it ? .... because however you treated the barista when you got your morning coffee today, had the capability to effect 3100+ people... ⠀

Smile at people, look them in the eye. Ask “how are you today?”, and actually wait and listen to their response. Tell those you love, that they are loved. If you notice something beautiful within a person (even a stranger), tell them. Be conscious of your energy and what demeanor and mood you bring with you into a space, everyone is responsible for this. Before you throw your opinion at someone, learn more about their ‘why’, even if you don’t agree, thank them for teaching you a different perspective. Words are powerful, taste them before they leave your lips. Kindness. Nurture. Empathy. Love... pass it round. The world needs us to. ?
