No matter the facility they caged you in... you overcame the shock treatments in Vacaville, the beatings in Folsom, the confinement in San Quentin... you fought cops in 2s & 3s... & called to tell me you loved me.
Thank You Dad for teaching me that life is about making sure you honor your elders. Honor them by never going backwards, always onward & upward. You fought to have more than money... you fought to be a proud strong Black man who died with his dignity.
