5 years ago I arrived in Paris. I worked in a boxing gym and met this man who was very nice and compassionate towards my situation. Immediately he took me under his wing and gave me money to help out with my current situation. I was a bit suspicious initially about this but when he spoke to the boxing coach and the gym manager and convinced them to allow me to train for free I knew he was someone special. Many of you do not know anything about this man but he was the one who taught me about MMA and helped me get clothes, shoes, and shelter when I didn’t have anything. He gave me my first apartment in Paris when I was homeless and provided me guidance and mentorship about my future life. I remember the day he brought me into my first store and had me chose a pair of brand new sneakers, he also introduced me to a group of people who would become my friends and teammates. He has always been there for me and even though he is not there in person he has remained a big part of my life. He is always behind the scenes and there are no words to qualify his kindness. I cannot thank him enough for everything he is to me and everything he has done for me.
