Like most Bajau people, he has spent his life at sea. Bajau have been a nomadic, seafaring people for nearly all of their history, getting most of their food from the ocean; they live on the Sulu Sea, spreading over the Philippines, Malaysia (state of Sabah), Indonesia and parts of Brunei.
