I’m so honored to be partnering with the @BeverlyCenter and @TheAdvocateMag to kick off pride month! Growing up in LA, The Beverly Center was a monument in my teenage years — I went on my first date ever in 5th grade to the moive theatre, of course with our moms following close behind and then dress shopping with my mom for my elementary school graduation, and again for my high school graduation. It’s a heart warming experience to now be here with them as they relaunch, creating a space for many more firsts and kicking off with bang for pride month — if only I knew then what I know now - how much I’ve grown and much much I’ve learned....to all the Teenagers and anyone struggling with they identity in this big big world, just put your hand on your heart and listen to who you are - there is no one else like you, so why try to be a clone of someone else when you can be the one and only, one of a kind YOU.
