'Phantom of Asakusa'
For the group show 'Ranpo Sensei and Me' @ Tobu departmant store in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The show was a tribute to Ranpo Edogawa, one of the greatest Japanese authors of mystery fiction.
The tower behind the girl is called '浅草十二階Asakusa Juni kai' which really existed until 1923 in Asakusa ,Tokyo. The tower comes out in Ranpo's novel couple of times and I think It symbolizes good old days for Ranpo.
