He is here, working on a painting in his studio while the Picasso he has recently purchased is on an easel. The studio is in the Song Museum in Beijing that Mr. Zhongjun has recently opened. This is supposed to be the first of 50 private museums he is constructing across China that will house his collections. In this one he has, to name just a few, Van Gogh, Modigliani, Giacometti, Bacon and this Picasso he purchased for 30 million dollars. In Mr. Zhongjun’s museum there are rooms dedicated to western art and rooms dedicated to Chinese art but there is also an entire room dedicated to his own painting and above the museum he has a studio where he creates and can get any work of art from the collection brought up there for inspiration while he smokes his Cuban cigars #picasso #cubism #china #art #wangzhongjun #beijing #vangogh #modigliani #giacometti #songmuseum #collection #collectionist
