So a couple of nights ago I had the immense pleasure of watching my friend @seanethetrumpet be serenaded for his birthday by a crowd of thousands. Sean was one of the first people I hung out with when I first moved to LA. To watch him and the @regiment_horns go from strength to strength in that time has been amazing. Killing it. And the man on the other side of me? I’ve been listening to @ジャスティン・ティンバーレイク for years. Since I used to sing and dance in front of the mirror as a teenager. There was a moment in my teens when I got picked on for liking Backstreet Boys and N’sync. All I saw was people living the life I wanted to live. Making great music and living the dream. I’m getting a little taste of that nowadays and it’s very satisfying to have gotten to this point and to be able to share in that experience. Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do what you want to do with your life. Sean did it, Justin did it, I’m doing it. Follow your path. Fuck the haters. The world is yours. Also, I am forever grateful for the support of my mother in all of this. Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful women out there.
