There’s never any glory in the defeat of an unworthy opponent. That behind me is the smoldering ashes of the Westin’s version of a Denny’s grand slam. And that poseur never stood a chance. It was delivered as I was still wet from the shower... so it sat there for just long enough to celebrate it’s illusion of reprieve... yep, the one that was never coming. Because the nature of it’s redolence had a particularly persuasive quality... and screamed out for it’s own demise. Hell of a nature to live with. Pathetic actually. No glory... just disgust, at it’s lack of fight.
