Elizabeth first tried the collection in October last year on Cate and had the vision of Cate wearing a bespoke piece inspired by the paint by number idea to Cannes. We got confirmation in January that Cate would lead the jury at Cannes this year and since then we have been hands on creating the dress for her. 3 months later, 2 fittings and a dedicated van to drive it from London to Cannes created this magical moment which is one of the most rewarding highlights in my career!!
