It was part of his print series ‘Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji’ – here Japan’s tallest mountain is dwarfed by a wave that threatens to engulf the boats below. Although now one of the most famous artworks in the world, prints of the Great Wave originally cost the same as two helpings of noodles! ???
