A man distributing bed nets throws his hands to his head in frustration as women wait to receive free bed nets in Kano State. There has been a concerted effort in northern Nigeria to distribute mosquito nets for the prevention of malaria. The distribution became increasingly fraught as beneficiaries worried that there would not be enough nets for everybody.
