The medieval heart of western Japan, Osaka Castle?

Osaka Castle was built by feudal lord #ToyotomiHideyoshi(#豊臣秀吉) in the mid 16th century, and served as his base until his clan was later defeated by #TokugawaIeyasu(#徳川家康). Though much of it has been restored and rebuilt, the castle stands today in the center of the city of #Osaka.

It is a must-see when visiting the Kansai region, as it is not only an amazing sight but also easily accessible.
