When I saw this colorful Tokyo Tower, I thought it was just a new look—turns out it was in celebration of the Golden Week holiday in Japan (May 3rd-5th 2018)!

So, the tower wore a 7-color rainbow veil of white, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, pink and red from sunset to 11pm before turning to orange light from 11pm to the next morning.

It was very beautiful and I'm so happy to not have missed it! ?? But I missed the 'Tokyo Rainbow Pride' on May 6th though ?

P.S. Golden week in Japan usually starts on April 29th—the birthday of Emperor Showa, who passed away in 1989.
