I'm IN SEARCH OF people in Michigan who will contact their legislators and ask them if they will be heroes and introduce a bill to ban declawing in this state. ??
Most of the vets in Michigan perform this feline paw mutilation and don't educate their clients about the facts on how it always harms the long term health and well-being of a cat or counsel them about the simple, commonsense, humane alternatives like sturdy scratchers, nail trims, Soft Paws, deterrents, etc.
Most of these unethical and greedy declawing vets enjoy the money that amputating toe bones on cats brings them. ????
We MUST protect cats from these very inhumane vet professionals and educate the public about the awful truth about declawing! ????
For some reason, Michigan and the Midwest seems to be stuck in the dark ages about this inhumane and mutilating procedure.
PLEASE support this cause and ask your friends to help out! You just might save some kitties from this cat cruelty and harm.
