TEFAF New York Spring is in full swing! Come see our John Currin and Brice Marden installation at booth 70.

John Currin’s paintings of women, often portrayed with grossly exaggerated proportions, intertwine classical beauty with the ironic and grotesque.

Brice Marden has extended and refined the traditions of abstraction. Multipanel drawings from the 1970s employ crisp geometries, with surfaces of graphite layered with beeswax, giving them a rich depth of pigment. Recently, Marden has returned to the monochrome and to the expansive possibilities of "terre verte" (green earth), an iron silicate/clay pigment, which he first used in the "Grove Group" paintings of the 1970s.
