🐚 @アモーレパシフィック US vintage single extract essence & the essential creme fluid 🐚
This #amorepacific essence has been quietly sitting in my @Nordstrom cart forever, waiting for the moment when I’d realllly want to treat myself to a skincare splurge. So naturally when I saw it on Octoly I gasped and immediately ordered. The star ingredient in the very short list is fermented green tea, which is supposed to provide anti-aging benefits, as well as help with dullness, texture & tone. In the short three weeks I’ve used this, I’m VERY into it ✨. It’s watery and thin in texture, but my skin feels refreshed and hydrated when I use this. It’s exactly the kind of texture I want for my summer skincare layering, while still giving me the hydrating benefits. Will I repurchase? Ask my bank account in a few months 🤷🏻‍♀️.
🐚 After I saw Liah Yoo rave about the essential creme fluid in her 2017 faves I’ve been eyeing it, but always thought it’d be a better warm weather moisturizer since it was a more runny texture. I was so wrong! This also has green tea as a star ingredient, but in the form of 150 baby green tea leaves. The texture is lightweight and it sinks in quick, but the hydration & moisture is so impressive! I’ve been using this as a day cream (even on the colder days) and it holds up all day to keep my skin feeling plump and smooth. The one con for me is that the perfumey fragrance is really strong, but I find it fades away. Also, this is another splurgey item, but a little goes a long way!
