My second baby is exactly 6 months old today. Reflecting today on where I️ was when I️ was writing these songs and where I️ am now. I don’t know if it’s the same for every artist, but for me, when I’m promoting an album. And performing a single day in and day out, rehearsing for tour for months and just singing the same songs over and over, I️ tend to forget. I️ forget what these songs mean to me & the dark and light places they came from. How they started with just me and a friend and a piano or a guitar. These songs now belong to you all, and I️ hope they have become your friend. My dream is to one day find this record in a charity shop in the vinyl section, at the very bottom, all worn down and the sleeve broken and dusty. That’s the dream. For your music to be passed around and shared with friends and lovers and family. Who knows xx Happy 6 months Mr Thrills
