I went on a girls trip this past weekend to my friend’s house in Rhode Island. Felt super guilty about leaving Mike and the kids but I always find that once you’re surrounded by friends, you realize how important it is to get away sometimes. We slept late, lazed around, ate leisurely, drank copiously, and just really enjoyed one another’s company. It was a good weekend. A huge thank you to @emmenewyork for planning it and for taking this photo! Wish you were in it ? Epilogue: the kids didn’t even miss me.
