伝えたかったのは、中国の移民労働者たちがおくる過酷な生活。「都市のストレスは、超高層ビルで働くオフィスワーカーではなく、街中を歩いている移住者が抱え込んでいる。私の目には、彼らの姿こそが印象的だった。写真は、人々に現実を突きつける。これは決してフィクションではなく、現実を引き延ばしたものだ」
