As part of our collaboration with #turquoisemountain we want to introduce you to Milad Zamani who grew up in Pakistan. His family came back to Afghanistan after civil war, when Milad was just 10 years old. Milad’s family ran a publishing house but he didn’t want to join the family business. Instead he joined Noor Corporation, an established jewellery business in Kabul, as an apprentice. When he started working there he didn’t know anything about #jewellery but quickly picked up the skill set and fell in love with it. His natural talent helped him to learn and improve quickly; and some years later he established his own business: Rana which we now support.
