The use of plastic has become so integrated into the mechanics of society that it is practically impossible to escape. Unfortunately, this tendency to use chemically intense, non-renewable and non-biodegradable packaging is taking its toll on the natural environment globally. The oceans have felt the full force of this to the point where toxic chemicals from plastic are commonly found in marine ecosystems around the world.
We use plastic to package most of our clothing as it has been an effective method of protecting garments on their journey to us or you. However, in light of the evidence and our research into the effects of using this material, we will continue to focus on moving away from single-use plastics for packaging and throughout the business.
