'The village-oasis of San Pedro de Atacama is the base for visiting many beautiful places, including la Valle de la Luna, an arid place, the appearance of which reminds you of lifeless lunar landscapes. A good way to visit the surroundings of the village is to bike your way around. I’ll always remember going back to the San Pedro during the night, pedalling in the desert under an amazing starry sky.
